Between energy and sensitivity, a K-Pop generation building itself with its fans. I conducted this written interview with the members of NCHIVE on August 19, 2026, a moment which, despite the distance, revealed a sincerity and an energy very characteristic of the group. Since their debut in April 2024, NCHIVE has established itself as one of the new faces of the K-pop scene, driven by six artists — HA.L, E.aN, Kangsan, Yuchan, Juyoung, and N — whose complementarity and determination shine through in every answer.

What strikes immediately is their way of talking about their journey: without exaggeration, without posture, but with a form of touching lucidity. They know where they come from, what they have built, and above all what they want to convey. Their name, NCHIVE, is not a simple marketing concept; it reflects a desire to create a space where their memories, their emotions, and those of their fans can meet and be preserved. Their fandom, SAVE, occupies a central place in this vision, and the members never hesitate to remind how this bond pushes them to evolve.

The interview also reveals an essential facet of their identity: the VE series — Vision & Evolution. This project, which runs through their releases since debut, symbolizes their artistic growth. Their first mini-album, ACHIEVE, entirely written and produced by them, marks an important milestone: the one where NCHIVE affirms its voice, its style, and its capacity to tell its story with its own words.

Through their answers, we also feel the impact of their first European tour. The memories they evoke — fans singing at the top of their lungs, the streets of Paris, museums, unexpected encounters — are not mechanically repeated anecdotes. These are moments that truly marked them, to the point of fueling their desire to return, to meet more fans, and to continue building a sincere relationship with Europe.

This interview, conducted at a distance but rich in nuances, shows a young group but already aware of its artistic responsibility. NCHIVE does not just seek to perform: they want to create, grow, and offer music capable of bringing people together, even in the most difficult contexts. Their world tour, their projects for 2026, and their desire to return to France testify to an ambition that is not limited to the Korean scene.

NCHIVE moves forward with humility, passion, and a clear vision: to evolve, again and always, with those who follow them.

1. Could you introduce NCHIVE to readers discovering you for the first time?
NCHIVE: "We are NCHIVE, a group of six members: HA.L, E.aN, Kangsan, Yuchan, Juyoung, and N. We debuted on April 9, 2024, with our first single DRIVE and the title track RACER. Since then, we have released Never Give Up, our second single Believe, as well as several Christmas songs. Our style is energetic, influenced by hip-hop, with strong choreography and a young, dynamic identity. The name NCHIVE comes from 'N' (unknown) and 'Archive', because we want to create and preserve beautiful memories for everyone who listens to us. Our fandom is called SAVE."
2. How would you describe your musical identity and the message you want to convey?
NCHIVE: "Since our debut, many of our projects end with the letters VE. It is our 'Vision & Evolution' series, representing our growth and musical evolution. Our first mini-album, which is also the final installment of this series, was entirely written, composed, and produced by ourselves. It is an album that tells our journey, our challenges, and our desire to grow as artists."
3. What can fans expect from your upcoming concert in Lille?
NCHIVE: "European fans will be the first in the world to discover performances of our new album on stage, even before Korea. We have also prepared a special video for this comeback, and we are sure it will please fans in France and throughout Europe. We really can't wait to share this with you."
4. How do you feel about performing in France and meeting your European audience?
NCHIVE: "During our ACTIVE LIVE TOUR, we visited Paris, Montpellier, Belgium, and Germany. It was our first time in Europe, and although we were a bit worried, we received so much love that we keep an incredible memory of it. This year, we are going to visit even more cities, especially in France, and we are really impatient to meet even more fans."
5. How would you describe your relationship with your European fans?
NCHIVE: "It is always incredible for us to know that there are fans so far away, in Europe, who support us. In France and Germany, there are even very active fanbases that organize events for our birthdays. For our second anniversary, the German fan club bought two stars bearing the names 'NCHIVE' and 'SAVE'. It is a gesture we will never forget. We want to work even harder to deserve all this love and come back often to Europe."
6. Is there a particular moment or memory with European fans that marked you?
NCHIVE: "The strongest moment is when fans from Belgium, Germany, and France sang our songs at the top of their lungs during concerts. The energy of the audience gives us so much strength on stage. We also remember our visits to the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, and the streets of Belgium. We couldn't visit Germany because of the schedule, so this time, we hope to have more time to discover local cuisine and sightsee."
7. How do you approach writing and musical production as a group?
NCHIVE: "Until now, only Kangsan participated in production, but for this new album, we all worked together. We often note down lyrics or melody ideas as soon as they come to us, because music is part of our lives. We want to create sincere songs that talk about us and allow fans to recognize themselves."

8. What inspires your music right now?
NCHIVE: "Our inspiration comes from real life, our worries, those of the fans, and what we experience daily. We have traveled to countries affected by conflicts or tensions, such as Russia or Cambodia. Even in these situations, we saw fans gathering through music. This made us want to become artists capable of bringing a little healing to the world."
9. Can you tell us about your teamwork and how you creatively collaborate within NCHIVE?
NCHIVE: "Kangsan is the main producer, but now each of us participates in creation according to our strengths. Since group work requires a lot of practice, we often compose in units of two members. For the choreography, HA.L leads, but we film our rehearsals and all give our opinion to get the best possible result."
10. What are your goals and projects for 2026–2027?
NCHIVE: "Our first mini-album ACHIEVE will be released very soon. Then we will go on a world tour until March, in about 15 countries and 24 cities. Our 2026 Christmas song is also planned. And when the tour is over, we want to start a new album… and maybe return to France for a second world tour. Thank you to SAVE worldwide for your support. We want to continue to grow for you."
